A collision between a sleeper bus and a motorbike in foggy weather early in the morning left three people in the same family injured and dead.
On the afternoon of January 8, the leader of the People's Committee of Nghi Dong commune, Nghi Loc district (Nghe An) said that on N5 road running through this locality, a serious traffic accident had just occurred, killing 2 people.death, 1 person injured.
At about 6:55 a.m. the same day, Mr. Hoang Van T. (born in 1989, residing in Nghi Dong commune, Nghi Loc district) drove a motorbike carrying his wife, Ms. Tran Thi H. (born in 1991), and 4-year-old son from the residential road intersecting with road N5.
At this time, many motorbikes and cars pass through the intersection. The early morning weather is dense with fog and limited visibility.
The collision between a passenger bus and a motorbike caused the motorbike and 3 people to be dragged under the bus.
Discovering the incident, local people quickly took the victims to the emergency room, but Ms. H. and the boy did not survive, while Mr. T. was seriously injured.
It is known that at the time of the accident, Mr. T. took his child to school, then the couple went to work at a company near their home.
According to the local leader, the location of the accident is a “black spot” and traffic safety is not guaranteed. Voters and the locality have repeatedly petitioned their superiors to install a traffic light system, but it has not been resolved.
In recent days, in many localities in Nghe An, dense fog has appeared in the early morning, affecting visibility for vehicles participating in traffic.
