Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Office celebrates 80 years of tradition, honored to receive First Class Labor Medal (second time)

The Provincial People's Committee Office is proactive, creative, and meets the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; comrades of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders, former leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office and departments, branches; cadres and experts of the Provincial People's Committee Office.

The Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province was established on August 24, 1945, just a few days after the victory of the August Revolution. After 80 years of construction and development, from the difficult early days, the Office has continuously grown in terms of organization, staff and quality of advice and service.

During the resistance war, the period of peace restoration or in the process of innovation, integration and development, the Provincial People's Committee Office has always been an advisory, synthesizing and effective assisting agency for the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in directing and operating the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense - security and foreign affairs.

In recent years, with the spirit of innovation, professionalism and administrative modernization, the Provincial People's Committee Office has made strong progress.

The general advisory work is increasingly effective; the activities serving the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee are deployed scientifically and thoughtfully; administrative management, application of information technology, administrative reform, citizen reception and facility management have all achieved remarkable results. Many models and creative ways of doing things of the Office have been recognized by the Central Government and learned by other localities.

That achievement is the crystallization of the intelligence, enthusiasm and high sense of responsibility of many generations of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Provincial People's Committee Office - those who silently and quietly contribute to the smooth and effective operation of the government apparatus.

Speaking at the Ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reviewed the important milestones and contributions of the Provincial People's Committee Office over the past 8 decades; at the same time, warmly congratulated and acknowledged the great contributions of the collective leadership and all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Provincial People's Committee Office through the periods.

Looking back on the past 80 years, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that he was proud of the tradition to further appreciate and understand the value of the generations of leaders, cadres and workers at the Office who have devoted themselves and worked hard to cultivate it; looking back to further appreciate and be grateful to previous generations; looking back to go further, become stronger, prouder and more confident in the future, to see the responsibility of the Provincial People's Committee Office in the new era; looking back to confidently move forward, together with the Party Committee and people, striving to build Nghe An into a rich and powerful province, the economic, cultural and social center of the North Central region.

On that basis, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to be identified as the leading agency in concretizing and implementing the directives and resolutions of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Council; to perform well the role of general advisor, assisting the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in directing and operating the activities of the Provincial People's Committee and the system of State administrative agencies from the province to the grassroots level.

At the same time, proactively and promptly propose to the Provincial People's Committee to develop mechanisms and policies; coordinate with departments, branches and localities in the process of researching, preparing and completing projects, mechanisms and policies, implementing solutions to direct and manage socio-economic development, in accordance with the requirements and demands of practice in each specific period; monitor, urge and supervise departments, branches and establishments in implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

“Be a role model and take the lead in administrative procedure reform, digital transformation, and application of information technology in state management. Improve the organizational structure, improve the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees, innovate working style and manners, implement democratic regulations, practice thrift, and combat waste,” the head of the provincial People's Committee emphasized.

Each cadre, civil servant and public employee of the Provincial People's Committee Office must regularly study, cultivate and continuously improve their political theory and professional expertise, have a deep understanding of the industry and field assigned to them; cultivate and train their political and ethical qualities; strictly implement administrative discipline and order.

Have courage and high sense of responsibility, honesty, dedication, exemplary, must be truly: "Diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality", fight against opportunism, pragmatism, bureaucracy far from reality... to well complete the task of advising, serving the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee and authorities at all levels.

Closing his speech, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh advised: "In the coming time and the new historical period, to contribute to bringing Nghe An province to new heights, the Provincial People's Committee Office needs to promote the fine traditions of the 80-year history of construction and growth, along with the wisdom and mettle of the times to constantly innovate, excellently complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State and People, worthy of the trust of Party committees at all levels, authorities and the wishes of the People".

Speaking at the event, Comrade Dang Thanh Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders and former leaders of the Provincial People's Committee through the periods; sincerely thanked the leaders and former leaders, generations of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Office through the periods; the coordination of departments, branches, units and localities; as well as the companionship of media agencies in the past time.

“The 80-year tradition of building and growing is a source of pride and valuable baggage for the collective of the Provincial People's Committee Office to strive and firmly step on the new path, making worthy contributions to the development of the province in the new period”, affirmed the Chief of Office of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.
