Responding to the call of the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to support and help the poor and people in difficult circumstances to celebrate Tet At Ty 2025, on the afternoon of January 2, the Provincial People's Committee Office launched a campaign to support "Tet for the poor - At Ty 2025".
Responding to the Appeal Letter of the Provincial Party Secretary, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office and all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working at the Provincial People's Committee Office contributed to support "Tet for the poor - At Ty 2025", each person at least one day's salary.
This is one of the meaningful activities promoting the spirit of community "The rich help the poor" to create more resources, ensure social security; contribute to the effective implementation of the province's sustainable poverty reduction program with the desire to support people in difficult circumstances to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025 joyfully, warmly and happily.
In recent years, with the efforts of Party committees, authorities, socio-political organizations, armed forces at all levels, enterprises, businessmen, cadres, party members and people from all walks of life inside and outside the province, the work of supporting housing and taking care of the poor during Tet has brought about many good results.
The activities have contributed to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals, gradually improving the material and spiritual life of the poor. Especially in the period from 2023 to 2024, Nghe An has mobilized and supported the construction and repair of 11,787 houses, helping many poor households have spacious and warm houses.
