Gold prices continue to rise

On the morning of April 12, SJC gold increased to 33.46 million VND/tael and was 310,000 VND/tael lower than world gold.

Opening the trading session this morning (April 12), the SJC gold price listed by Saigon Jewelry Company for buying and selling in Ho Chi Minh City is 33.23-33.46 million VND/tael, and in Hanoi is 33.23-33.46 million VND/tael.

Compared to the same time yesterday morning, SJC gold has increased by 80,000 VND/tael for buying and 60,000 VND/tael for selling.

In yesterday's session, the gold price maintained its upward trend all day. At the end of yesterday afternoon's session, the buying and selling price of SJC gold in Ho Chi Minh City was 33.22-33.45 million VND/tael. Currently, the SJC gold price is still continuing to maintain its upward trend, although the increase at 8:00 this morning compared to the closing price yesterday afternoon has narrowed compared to yesterday morning.

The difference between buying and selling price of SJC gold is 230,000 VND/tael, down 20,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday's session.

In the world market, the price of gold in the Asian session is 1,256 USD/oz, up 6 USD compared to the same time yesterday morning. Converted to Vietnamese currency according to the exchange rate at Vietcombank of 22,320 VND/USD, the world gold price is currently equivalent to 33.77 million VND/tael. At this price, the world gold price is 310,000 VND/tael higher than the domestic gold price.

Thus, compared to yesterday morning, world gold continues to increase sharply compared to domestic gold and the price gap between SJC gold and world gold has widened compared to yesterday (difference of 210,000 VND/tael).
