National U15 Finals 2019: SLNA has its first victory against Thanh Hoa
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 18, U15 SLNA entered the journey to defend the throne with a match against U15 Thanh Hoa and it was not difficult for the defending champion to get their first victory.
The final round - National U15 Football Championship 2019 has the participation of 8 teams including Viettel, Thanh Hoa, Song Lam Nghe An, SHB Da Nang, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City.
8 teams are divided into 2 groups, each group of 4 teams competes in a round robin in each group to calculate points and rank.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals and finals. The two semi-final winners will advance to the finals. The two semi-final losers will share third place.

In the opening match on the afternoon of June 18, U15 SLNA faced their neighbor Thanh Hoa, winning 2-1. Dang Ba and Thai Van Quy were the players who scored to help the team of Nhu Thuat and Van Quyen get the first 3 points.
In the 2018 National U15 Finals, U15 SLNA played brilliantly in the group stage and semi-finals. In the final, against a very strong opponent, Viettel, the young players from Nghe An could not win in the official minutes of play. On the penalty spot, goalkeeper Van Tiep of U15 SLNA successfully blocked a penalty from the opponent. Thereby, U15 SLNA won with a score of 5-4, winning the 2018 championship.
