For 60,000 VND, a man killed his relative.

On August 2, the Investigation Police Agency of Lao Cai Province Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Bach Van Si (27 years old, group 17, Nam Cuong ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai) for the above act.

According to the case file, at around 9:30 a.m. on August 1, relatives of Ms. Lu Thi Hoa (born 1976, group 17, Nam Cuong ward, Lao Cai city) went to her house and were shocked to discover the victim dead on the bed with many wounds.

The incident was quickly reported to the authorities. After verifying and locating the suspect, Lao Cai Provincial Police, in coordination with Lao Cai City Police, identified the perpetrator as Bach Van Si (27 years old), the victim's nephew.

Notably, according to the incident's confession when Si was arrested, at around 8:00 p.m. on July 31, Si brought a knife to Ms. Hoa's house with the intention of robbing her.

Arriving at Mrs. Hoa's house, the light outside was still on but the door was locked. When the woman heard the dog barking and went out, Si threatened her with a knife. After entering the room, the victim told Si that she only had 60,000 VND left and gave it to the suspect.

It was thought that Si would leave the house with money, however, this young man killed his relative and left the scene. Not stopping there, the 27-year-old continued to steal a motorbike from Lung Van Chinh's house (group 16 Nam Cuong, Lao Cai City) then went to buy drugs to use and fled.

After more than ten hours of committing the crime, Si bought two bottles of weed killer, hid his motorbike, and then went home to commit suicide. This act was promptly stopped by the authorities and the subject was taken to the emergency room.

The case is currently being investigated and clarified.
