(Baonghean.vn) - According to the North Central Region Hydrometeorological Center, in March, Nghe An experienced rare heat waves, accompanied by extreme weather phenomena.
While monitoring weather developments, the North Central Hydrometeorological Center said that Nghe An is experiencing a severe and especially severe heat wave.

"This is a very rare heat wave in March. According to data from the past 20 years, this is the time with the highest daily temperature, surpassing the historical mark in Xiangyang with 41.3 degrees. This is a sign of an early and harsh summer.
Previously, in Nghe An on March 18-21, tornadoes and hail occurred in many districts such as Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Quy Chau, and Que Phong.

Usually, late March and early April is the transition period between winter and summer, the end of the northeast monsoon, when hot air meets cold air, tornadoes, hail, even strong winds and heavy rains will occur.
The peak of the heat is forecast for March 23. Extreme weather events are likely to occur in the coming days. People in mountainous areas need to continue to be on guard to avoid damage and risks caused by storms and hail.
