Vietnam sends condolences over explosion causing damage to people and property in Cuba
Upon hearing the news of the explosion on May 6 at the Saratoga Hotel in the capital city of Havana, Cuba, causing tragic loss of life and property damage, on May 7, leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam sent a telegram to pay their respects and sympathize with the people of Cuba.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent messages of sympathy to Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic of Cuba; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent messages of sympathy to Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba; and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue sent messages of sympathy to Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the National Assembly of the People's Power of the Republic of Cuba.
On the same day, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son sent a telegram of condolences to Comrade Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba./.
