Vinamilk and Cho Ray Hospital sign strategic cooperation agreement to raise international level
(Baonghean.vn) - Within the framework of the International Clinical Nutrition Conference held at the IFEMA Convention Center, Madrid, Spain, on September 2, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) and Cho Ray Hospital jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the next 3 years 2019 - 2021.
This is a Strategic Cooperation program on the issue of "Nutritional care, specialized product development for inpatients and outpatients and training of specialized clinical nutritionists with international standards" with the participation, witness and support of Professors from Geneva University Hospital.
At the signing ceremony, Vinamilk and Cho Ray Hospital also summarized the Strategic Cooperation program for the period 2016 - 2018 with results that brought positive benefits to the community: nutritional counseling and care for more than 520,000 inpatients and outpatients, training in clinical nutrition knowledge with domestic and international training courses for more than 1,300 medical staff of Cho Ray Hospital.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Truong Son - Director of Cho Ray Hospital said that the strategic cooperation with Vinamilk has brought practical benefits to the community, contributing to improving nutritional status & increasing treatment effectiveness for patients, as well as enhancing knowledge and raising awareness of the importance of nutrition in treatment for medical staff at Cho Ray Hospital. He hopes that the strategic cooperation plan for the next three years 2019 - 2021 will continue to bring meaningful programs that contribute positively to the health care of the community in general and patients at Cho Ray Hospital in particular.
Representing Vinamilk, Mr. Phan Minh Tien - Marketing Executive Director shared the results of the Clinical Research for the nutritional product Vinamilk Sure Prevent, proving its effectiveness in improving nutritional status and health for patients before and after surgery. The research was conducted on patients with heart valve failure at Cho Ray Hospital.

Also at the signing ceremony, he shared: “As a leading nutrition company in Vietnam, Vinamilk is very pleased to cooperate with Cho Ray Hospital at an international level with the support of famous professors in the field of clinical nutrition from the University Hospital of Geneva to contribute to improving the nutritional status and health of patients and the community. This is also one of Vinamilk's strategic projects aiming at the goal of "Caring for the health of 1 million patients and the elderly in Vietnam". He also shared 3 more key contents for the project in the period of 2019 - 2021 including: Continuing to provide nutritional counseling for 1 million inpatients and outpatients at Cho Ray Hospital; Cooperating in the development and clinical research of specialized nutritional products for patients and the elderly; Intensive training in clinical nutrition at home and abroad for 1,200 medical staff of the hospital in conjunction with the world's leading clinical nutrition training centers.
The signing ceremony took place with the participation and witness of Professor Pichard Claude & Professor Pre Laurence Genton Graf from the University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland and Professor Mathias Pirlich - Secretary General of the European Society of Clinical Nutrition ESPEN. Also at the signing ceremony, the two sides and the Professors planned to train the most advanced nutritional knowledge for the medical team of Cho Ray Hospital at the University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland - the leading European unit in clinical nutrition training. This cooperation will help raise the international quality of clinical research cooperation between Cho Ray Hospital and Vinamilk in the coming time.

The 40th ESPEN Conference was held in Madrid, Spain, gathering thousands of nutritionists, doctors, pharmacists, and leading scientists from around the world to update, exchange, and discuss the latest research and knowledge in the field of clinical nutrition.
