This is the announcement on October 11 of the World Health Organization (WHO)

On October 11, after announcing the discovery of a new coronavirus strain that causes acute respiratory infections and kidney failure, the World Health Organization (WHO) continued to announce that there is no evidence that this virus can be transmitted from person to person after a period of investigation and monitoring along with increased global surveillance.

WHO also said that currently there have been no additional cases of people infected with this new virus other than the two cases in Saudi Arabia and Qatar that have been recorded and reported.

In Vietnam, the Department of Preventive Medicine (Ministry of Health) continues to request the surveillance system to strengthen border health quarantine, closely monitor cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome, and take samples to detect the first cases at medical facilities.

Border health quarantine is strictly implemented at international border gates: Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang, with the requirement that tourists returning from areas with acute respiratory infections with kidney failure will make a medical declaration about their health status./.
