According to people's reflection, taking advantage of the trust of many people in Vinh Bao district - Hai Phong city, Mr. Le Kim Dinh (born in 1977, currently Principal of Dong Minh Secondary School) and his wife Le Thi Hao (born in 1979, teacher of Hung Nhan Secondary School) organized "family contribution games".
This couple mobilized money from hundreds of households in communes such as Tam Da, Nhan Hoa, Dong Minh..., with an amount of up to tens of billions of VND. After taking the money of hundreds of households, the couple Dinh - Hao declared bankruptcy, causing the households to fall into dire circumstances.
It is worth mentioning that the Dinh and Hao couple have been organizing the local fund raising game for nearly ten years and have started showing signs of fraud in recent years, but many people are greedy for high interest rates and trust the “teacher label” so they still collect money every month to give to this couple to get interest. Incomplete statistics show that the amount of money that the Dinh and Hao couple collected from people is up to tens of billions of dong. Many of these people have filed a petition with the local government.
According to Mr. Le Duc Thuan - Chairman of Tam Da Commune People's Committee (where Dinh and Hao registered their permanent residence), this couple is no longer living in Tam Da Commune; the Commune People's Committee has instructed the households to continue sending petitions to higher authorities.
“The locality has also informed many times. The meetings with voters or the local People's Council also propagated, there were also articles on the radio, but some households still lent money to Hao and Dinh's family for profit. The locality's viewpoint is to request the authorities to intervene to clarify. Currently, no agency has come to the locality to get information and the district is also actively checking and clarifying this matter" - Mr. Le Duc Thuan said.
