Case of 3 women assaulted: Facebook owner Phan Hung detained
The police have invited Phan Son Hung, the person who posted the clip and was in the group that assaulted the three women, to work.
Regarding the case of “assaulting 3 women, filming and posting the clip online”, last night, District 2 Police, Ho Chi Minh City invited and administratively detained suspect Phan Son Hung, owner of Facebook Phan Hung (born in 1984, residing on Le Duc Tho Street, Ward 16, Go Vap District) to serve the investigation.

So far, the police have determined that Phan Hung was in a group of people who attacked Ms. Le My Hanh and two friends at a house on Tran Nao Street, Binh An Ward, District 2 on the afternoon of May 2. At the same time, Phan Hung was the one who used his cell phone to record the incident and posted it on his personal Facebook page.
The police have information about the people who participated in the assault on the three women and are inviting them to work. At the same time, yesterday evening, District 2 Police invited Ms. Le My Hanh and two friends, who were victims of the attack, to work.
Colonel Nguyen Sy Quang - Chief of Staff, spokesman of Ho Chi Minh City Police confirmed that District 2 Police are urgently investigating the case. Mr. Quang also informed that today (May 4), Ms. Hanh will be taken for an injury assessment to have a basis for handling the next steps.
Ms. Le My Hanh said that on the afternoon of May 3, she returned to the hospital for a health check-up and a head CT scan. She is currently having difficulty moving due to the consequences of the attack.

Also on May 3, Ms. Hanh worked with the District 2 Police investigator. Here, she requested to prosecute the case and criminally prosecute the subjects who attacked and brutally beat her and her two friends. According to Ms. Hanh, the police officers were very friendly and proactive.
Ms. Hanh said that until now she still does not understand why she and her two friends were attacked, what was their motive?
As previously reported, the spokesperson of Ho Chi Minh City Police denied public opinion that there were public officials behind the incident, denying that the incident had political overtones.
