Serious accident on National Highway 1A: 1 more victim died
(Baonghean.vn) - One more victim died, bringing the death toll after a collision between a passenger bus carrying people to a festival from Thanh Hoa and a trailer parked on the side of the road in Nghi Loc district (Nghe An) to three.
The deceased victim was Nguyen Thi Thuc (born in 1969; from Sam Son, Thanh Hoa). The victim was taken to the emergency room on the morning of March 16 at Nghe An General Hospital with severe brain and chest trauma and was being monitored for heart trauma. Not only that, due to the victim's underlying medical condition, there were signs of blood clots during the emergency room.

It is known that before that, the family called on charities as well as benefactors to donate blood to help the patient overcome the critical condition in time.
However, due to severe injuries, the patient did not survive and was taken home on the afternoon of March 19, 2021.
Previously, as reported by Nghe An Newspaper, at around 5:00 a.m. on March 16, onNational Highway 1AIn Bac Kim Hoa hamlet, Nghi Thuan commune, a serious traffic accident occurred between a tractor trailer with license plate 37V-0047 and a passenger bus with license plate 36B - 034.12 driven by driver Nguyen Van Tam.
The collision caused the passenger bus to be deformed, killing one person on the spot, one person dying shortly after being taken to the hospital, and injuring about 20 people, while also causing serious traffic congestion on the road near the Nghi Long commune gate.

At that time, the passenger bus was said to have departed from Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa, on its way to carry people to Hoang Muoi Temple in Vinh City (Nghe An) when it had an accident.
The cause of the accident is being further investigated by Nghi Loc district.
