On the eve of the New Year of the Pig 2019, the Nghe An Association in Taiwan organized a meeting with the presence of more than 100 Nghe An children living, studying and working in Taiwan, in addition to representatives of Associations from neighboring provinces such as Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Tuyen Quang, Nam Dinh...

In an open and friendly atmosphere, everyone listened to the representative of the Liaison Committee report on the Association's activities over the past year.

Accordingly, after being reorganized, the Association has promoted the organization of events, exchanges, sports, and charity activities, including many achievements in football competitions as well as donations to help fellow countrymen in distress and support poor families in their hometown.

At the meeting, everyone heard the members' opinions on the issues of construction and operation of the Association with the hope that the Association will develop further and become a worthy bridge for many Nghe An children in Taiwan.

Within the framework of the meeting, the Association solemnly held birthday parties for members born in November, December 2018 and January 2019, and organized youth games, gave souvenirs, creating a fun and cozy atmosphere for the meeting day.

The meeting ended with a culinary festival and cultural exchange with the presence of singers from Vietnam and many unique homegrown performances, and folk songs filled with love for the homeland.

It is known that over the past 8 years, the Nghe An Association in Taiwan has continuously grown and become one of the most typical provincial-level associations of Vietnamese people in Taiwan with many exciting, practical and meaningful community activities./.
