Happy Mid-Autumn Festival with poor children in Chau Hanh

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 15, 2016 (ie August 15 of the lunar calendar), the People's Committee of Quy Chau district coordinated with Chau Hanh commune and Chau Hanh 2 Primary School to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival for children in the 4 most disadvantaged villages of the commune.

Nearly 300 children from Ta Co, Pa Co, Ke Ninh, Dinh Tien villages, which are particularly difficult villages in Chau Hanh commune, had a truly joyful and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival with special performances, learning about the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival, carrying lanterns, and breaking cakes together. This was the first time Chau Hanh commune was chosen to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival, so it attracted a large number of people and parents to participate.

On the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, many disadvantaged children in Chau Hanh received meaningful gifts.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quy Chau district and Chau Hanh commune, together with departments and organizations, presented 29 gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well, including children who are orphans of both parents. The Party Committee, the Village Management Board, and the Study Encouragement Association of 4 villages also presented meaningful gifts to encourage the children to achieve high achievements in the past school year.
