Overtaking a truck, a young man was hit and killed by a car

At around 3:00 p.m. on December 21, Tran Van Diep (born in 1995, from Pho Chau town, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh) was driving a motorbike with license plate number 38H1 – 024.10 on Nguyen Viet Xuan street (Vinh city). When he reached Hung Dung ward (Vinh city), Diep accelerated to pass the truck in front and was hit by a car with license plate number 38A – 081.42 (driver unknown).

The strong collision caused Diep to fall onto the road and die on the spot. The motorbike was thrown to the side of the road and was severely damaged, while the 4-seater car had minor damage to the front.

Upon receiving the news, Vinh City Police quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
