On the morning of August 28, the Party Committee of Do Luong commune held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the common goal set: by 20230, Do Luong commune will become a ward under Nghe An province.

Rising water submerged hundreds of roofs, authorities used motorboats to evacuate people from Do Luong and Tan An communes.

In the early morning of July 24, the Lam and Con rivers suddenly rose, causing deep flooding in many areas in Do Luong commune (former Do Luong district) and Tan An commune (former Tan Ky district). Faced with the complicated situation, authorities urgently used boats to approach the flooded areas, helping people move their belongings and property to safety.
