Gasoline prices continue to rise

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have just announced the adjustment of domestic retail gasoline prices. Accordingly, the price of each liter of RON 92 gasoline increased by 306 VND, and E5 gasoline increased by 285 VND. Oil products increased by 43-155 VND per liter, kg depending on the type.

Along with the price increase, the operator also released more money from the Petroleum Stabilization Fund, with gasoline at 110 VND per liter; E5 gasoline at 90 VND per liter and kerosene using an additional 185 VND per liter. Diesel oil only stopped using the stabilization fund.

After the adjustment, the price of RON 92 gasoline is no higher than VND17,792 per liter; E5 gasoline is VND17,539; diesel is VND13,950; kerosene is VND12,547 and mazut is VND11,148 per kilogram.

The basis for the price increase, according to the management agency, is that the average price of finished petroleum products in the world over the past 15 days has been around 65.827 USD per barrel of RON 92 gasoline; 63.823 USD per barrel of diesel; and 63.547 USD per barrel of kerosene...

This is the fourth consecutive gasoline price increase in the past two months, with a total increase of 1,756 VND per liter.
