Building a model of new-age youth workers with 5 core criteria

This is one of the six important forums of Nghe An youth organized during Youth Month, attracting a large number of union members and young people to participate with many important contributions, contributing to building the model values ​​of young workers of Nghe An Province's Enterprise Sector in the current period.

Ten years ago, the Campaign "Building model values ​​of Vietnamese youth in the new era" was launched throughout the Union and youth nationwide, associated with the implementation of criteria, standards, ethics, and lifestyles following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; at the same time, associated with the working policies of the Union, Association, Team and patriotic emulation movements among youth and children.

The campaign aims to create a profound change in cadres, union members, and youth in their awareness of self-cultivation, study, and work; improve revolutionary ethics, fight against moral and lifestyle degradation, and prevent bad habits.

From there, build exemplary values ​​for union members and youth to look up to and follow, contributing to building a generation of youth with patriotism, political courage, awareness of law compliance, ambition and aspiration to develop the country, knowledge and health.

Speaking at the forum, Secretary of the Provincial Business Bloc Youth Union Nguyen Ba Tuan Anh said that the campaign's content focuses on building a model of Vietnamese youth in the new era, aiming for the goal of having a "Pure Heart", "Bright Mind", and "Great Ambition".

Approaching from the perspective of cadres, union members, young workers, and young laborers in the Provincial Enterprise Bloc, the Standing Committee of the Bloc Youth Union proposed 5 criteria and 5 values.

Specifically, the 5 criteria include: Steadfast character - Pioneering action - Creative competition - Good health - Proficient skills.

5 values ​​include: Aspiration - Pioneer - Solidarity - Responsibility - Creativity.

From those values ​​and criteria, delegates contributed ideas and solutions to revolve around the following contents: How to apply and specifically demonstrate these criteria and values ​​in the Campaign "Building model values ​​of Vietnamese youth in the new era"? How to apply the criteria and values ​​to each movement and action of the youth? More importantly, what needs to be done to raise awareness and synchronously guide the youth of Nghe An Province's Business Sector to imbue and be determined in implementing these criteria and values?

Acknowledging the diverse opinions from the exemplary youth union members attending the forum, Standing Deputy Secretary Tran Quang Hoa suggested that the discussed exemplary values ​​need to have methods and approaches to be built into programs and plans, clearly indicating the specific tasks that each Youth Union organization and each member needs to perform.

It is necessary to pay attention to building an environment and conditions for studying, training, working, and entertaining so that union members can develop healthily, comprehensively, and harmoniously according to the oriented model values. From there, create motivation for union members to be proactive in studying, working, and creating, promoting the important role of innovation and dedication for the development of the enterprise.

The Youth Union must create an equal, pure, and affectionate environment for cadres, union members, and young people to practice and aim for the values ​​as set out in the campaign's goals, thereby creating a source of quality young cadres for the Party, the political system, and source cadres for professional work.
