The Quynh Mai Ward Party Committee was established on the basis of merging the Ward and Commune Party Committees: Mai Hung, Quynh Phuong, Quynh Xuan and Quynh Lien Commune. The Quynh Mai Commune Party Committee has 62 affiliated Party organizations with 1,498 Party members.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the first Congress of Quynh Mai Ward Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term has a particularly important political significance, demonstrating the aspiration, belief, vision and high determination to build a clean and strong Party organization, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, innovate, develop, and build a civilized and prosperous Quynh Mai ward.

Promoting the results of previous terms, innovation, drastic leadership of Party committees at all levels, flexible management of authorities at all levels, the economy of wards and communes in Quynh Mai ward continues to have rapid growth.

Notably, the average growth in the period 2020 - 2025 is estimated at 13.9%. The average added value per capita is expected to reach 87.24 million VND by 2025, both of which exceed the target set by the resolution and are higher than the provincial average.

The socio-economic infrastructure has been gradually improved, especially the irrigation system, schools and medical stations. People's lives have improved, and the appearance of rural and urban areas has improved.

National defense and security are always ensured. The work of building the Party and the political system is regularly focused on, innovated, and has strong changes; the effectiveness and efficiency of management, direction, and administration of authorities at all levels are improved. The role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations is well promoted, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party and the State.

Striving to become a green city, a coastal tourism city

In the 2025-2030 term, the Ward Party Committee sets the goal of striving to build Quynh Mai with rapid and sustainable economic growth, determined to build Quynh Mai ward into a green urban area, a coastal tourism urban area, becoming one of the localities with economic and cultural development in the South Thanh Nghe region.

To realize this goal, the commune has set out 8 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs and main groups of solutions. Accordingly, the ward is determined to achieve an economic growth rate of 13.5-14.5%; average income by 2030 reaching 180-200 million VND/person/year; the annual commune-level digital transformation index is ranked A by the Provincial People's Committee for the whole province.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, requested delegates to discuss in depth and analyze the causes and limitations, especially the subjective causes, to find solutions to overcome and create momentum for the development of Quynh Mai ward in the new period. At the same time, she also suggested and clarified 6 key tasks for the congress to study and discuss.

In particular, the top priority and very important task at present is to quickly stabilize the organization, build solidarity and unity within the entire Party Committee to exploit and promote the potential advantages of Quynh Mai, take advantage of opportunities to bring the locality to breakthrough development.

Quynh Mai needs to maximize its strengths based on the sea, cling to the sea and get rich from the sea, develop the marine economy in a modern and sustainable direction, promote the cultural identity of the sea, build a coastal community that develops harmoniously, is connected, and is friendly to the sea; ensure national defense, security and sovereignty over the sea and islands.

In particular, the ward needs to focus on improving service quality, creating a unique identity for Quynh sea tourism culture on the basis of combining the exploitation of natural landscapes with unique and famous tangible and intangible cultural values ​​such as Con Temple, Xuan Uc Temple, Phung Hung Temple, Cua Truong Temple... Along with that, pay attention to attracting investment, perfecting infrastructure for sea tourism, and unique and attractive tourism products.

In addition, the ward needs to continue developing offshore fishing in strict compliance with state regulations. Prioritize the development of high-tech aquaculture, focusing on products with high economic value for deep processing and export; pay attention to developing logistics industries serving the marine economy.

At the same time, Quynh Mai ward needs to closely follow the development orientation of Hoang Mai region in the resolutions of the Central and the province, placing Quynh Mai in the overall development of the North Nghe An and South Thanh Hoa regions to adjust the ward planning and other planning that can harmoniously connect, create new urban structures and spaces, accelerate the urbanization rate, and contribute to the growth pole of the province.

At the same time, the ward needs to promote comprehensive digital transformation, which is an inevitable trend and one of the major orientations of the Central Government and our province in the new era of development.
