Thuan Trung Commune Party Committee held the first Congress, term 2025 - 2030
On the morning of August 10, Thuan Trung Commune Party Committee held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term. The Congress determined the direction, goals, tasks, and solutions for the next 5-year development period (2025 - 2030).
Attending the congress were comrades of the Party Executive Committee of Nghe An province: Le Dinh Ly - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board and Pham Tuan Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee; together with leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; representatives of the Party Committees of communes (belonging to the former Do Luong district). 250 party members, representing a total of 1,899 party members in the entire Thuan Trung commune Party Committee attended the congress.
Many outstanding results
Thuan Trung Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging and consolidating the Party Committees of 6 communes: Trung Son, Thuan Son, Lac Son, Xuan Son, Minh Son and Nhan Son, formerly belonging to Do Luong district. The Party Committee has a total of 1,899 members, operating in 54 affiliated Party organizations.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, in the spirit of strengthening innovation in leadership methods towards science, democracy, close to the grassroots and suitable to local realities; taking care of comprehensive Party building work in all fields and improving the activities of the political system; the Party Committees of 6 communes before the merger led and directed the completion of 24/30 targets set for the term.
Notably, the average economic growth rate in the period 2020 - 2025 reached 9.65%. The economic structure shifted in a positive direction and developed sustainably when increasing the application of science and technology in production and business. The average income per capita in 2025 is estimated at 69.6 million VND/year; the poverty rate is 2.53%.
In Thuan Trung commune, there are currently more than 190 hectares of high-quality rice; 69 farmer model gardens; 13 livestock models following VietGAP; 5 OCOP products. The whole commune has 517 industrial, handicraft, service and commercial production establishments; creating jobs and income for thousands of workers.
The cultural and social fields have achieved many positive results, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved and raised. Political security and social order and safety have been maintained and stabilized, and the rural appearance has improved a lot.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Party Committee of Thuan Trung commune is determined to strive to achieve the advanced new rural standards by 2030, aiming towards a model new rural commune, building Thuan Trung commune to soon become one of the dynamic development areas in the West of Nghe An province in the following years. The Congress set out 25 "hard" targets on socio-economy, environment, security - order, Party building and political system and 7 "soft" targets specific to the locality; at the same time, it set out 6 groups of key tasks, 4 breakthroughs, 4 groups of main solutions.
The Congress approved the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee of the commune for the 2025 - 2030 term, consisting of 27 comrades and the Party Standing Committee of the commune, consisting of 11 comrades.
Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuong was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Thuan Trung commune for the 2025-2030 term. Comrades Thai Thi Hien and Nguyen Mau Luong were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee of the commune.
Continue to innovate the content and methods of Party leadership
Speaking at the Congress, on behalf of the Provincial Working Group, Comrade Pham Tuan Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requested the Thuan Trung Commune Party Committee to focus on implementing the Congress Resolution resolutely and effectively. Focus on building a great solidarity bloc within the entire Party Committee and people to join hands and unite for the overall, harmonious, sustainable and stable development of the locality.
Focus on reviewing and developing socio-economic development plans in conjunction with the general planning of the commune, thereby determining development goals and spaces for leadership and direction in the coming period. The planning process needs to pay attention to regional connectivity with neighboring localities to jointly promote the advantages of each locality in socio-economic development, aiming to build a commune that meets the model new rural standards and urban development in the near future.
Promote comprehensive digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo; improve the operational efficiency of the Commune Public Administration Service Center; strengthen the application of information technology in management and administration; promote the digitization of records and data, build a digital government to serve people and businesses quickly, conveniently and transparently; build a commune-level government that is truly close to the people.
Continue to innovate the Party's leadership content and methods, improve the quality of Party cell activities; well implement regulations and responsibilities to set an example for cadres and Party members, especially leaders of Party committees, agencies and units, in the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, having a strategic vision to continue to lead and direct the excellent completion of the targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
