Container truck tire explodes and crashes into pharmacy, two people injured and dead

(Baonghean.vn)- While traveling on National Highway 1A, a container truck suddenly had its front tire explode and crashed into a roadside pharmacy, collapsing part of a house, injuring and killing two people in the car.

The accident occurred at 1:00 p.m. on November 8 at km 399 + 500 of National Highway 1A in Hamlet 11, Quynh Thach Commune, Quynh Luu District.

At that time, a container truck with an unknown license plate number pulling a trailer with license plate 73R 00382 traveling from Hanoi to Quang Binh suddenly had a front tire explode and crashed into a roadside pharmacy, causing the front of the truck to be crushed and the front engine to be deformed.

At the scene, two people in the cabin, men under 30 years old, were injured in critical condition. People pried open the cabin and took them to Nghe An 115 Hospital for emergency treatment. Later, one person died.

The accident caused the house containing the pharmacy to collapse, many properties were damaged, and Highway 1A was blocked.
