Tractor trailer suddenly caught fire in front of traffic police station

The incident occurred in the early morning of November 25 in front of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (located in Dien Chau district).

When the tractor caught fire, although the authorities put out the fire, the incident still caused severe damage to 3 vehicles, including: 1 tractor, 1 road roller and a crane on the tractor bed.

According to the leader of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, the car caught fire while Dien Chau District Traffic Police were making a record to handle administrative violations of overloading.

Previously, the district traffic police discovered this vehicle with signs of being overloaded while traveling on provincial road 538. Afterwards, the traffic police team escorted the vehicle to Dien Chau Traffic Police Station for weighing.

After weighing, because the vehicle was overloaded, the Traffic Police Team asked the driver to present documents and draw up a record of administrative violations. While drawing up the record, the vehicle caught fire.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
