Unique car Sunswift Violet uses no gasoline, speed 130 km/h
The Sunswift Violet 4-seaterDesigned by students from the Sunswift solar racing team, University of New South Wales (Australia).The frame is made from carbon fiber and the suspension system is aluminum, so the weight is only 380 kg. The Sunswift Violet is powered by Li-ion solar cells and uses Bridgestone tires. The aero design helps reduce the drag coefficient to less than 0.2.The roof has 284 microcrystalline photovoltaic cells, providing up to 1.1 kW of power.
