Nghe An Newspaper has artists participating in the Exhibition "Cover design art - Vietnamese books, newspapers, magazines 2025"
Today (June 13), on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (1925 - 2025), at the Exhibition House 16 Ngo Quyen, Hanoi, the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition "Cover Design Art - Vietnamese Books, Newspapers and Magazines 2025" was held by the Graphics Association 2 - Vietnam Fine Arts Association. Nghe An Newspaper has 1 designer participating in the exhibition.
Attending the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition were Art Critic Mai Ngoc Oanh - Vice President of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association; Painter Vu Ngoc Long - Director of the Exhibition House; Dr. Dang Phong Lan - Principal of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Hung Cuong - Principal of the University of Industrial Fine Arts and many painters, graphic designers, newspapers, publishers, Graphic Design departments, Fine Arts schools, and experts in the fields of communication, fine arts...
The exhibition is a meaningful artistic activity to honor the role of the graphic design industry and graphic designers from provinces and cities in the fields of creativity, book, newspaper, magazine and publishing design, and at the same time is an opportunity to look back on the development journey of applied arts through book covers and newspaper publications over the past century.
From the first book and newspaper covers bearing the mark of the times - closely associated with the historical stages of the nation - to modern, creative designs in the digital age, the exhibition will introduce a vivid visual space, demonstrating the diversity in expressive language, while clearly depicting the strong transformation of the Vietnamese book, newspaper and magazine cover design industry in the journey of protecting and building the country.
The exhibition brings together a large number of artists, graphic designers, journalists, publishers, bookstores and experts in the fields of communication and fine arts nationwide - connecting art, content and readers through each unique and creative cover page of the publication. Nghe An Newspaper participates in the exhibition with book and newspaper covers designed by artist Nguyen Huu Tuan.
The exhibition is a meaningful artistic activity, aiming to honor the role of graphic design and graphic designers in the field of books, newspapers, magazines and publishing, and at the same time, it is an opportunity to look back on the development journey of Vietnamese applied arts through press publications over the past century.
