At about 3:15 p.m. on February 8 (the first day of Tet), at km 1205+100 of National Highway 1A (Dap Da Ward, An Nhon Town (Binh Dinh), a particularly serious traffic accident occurred, killing 2 people and injuring 1 person.

At that time, the Phuong Trang sleeper bus driven by driver Le Hoang Hoa (41 years old) was traveling from North to South. When it reached Bang Chau area, Dap Da ward, it caused an accident with a motorbike driven by a young man carrying two unidentified girls.
The accident left one girl dead on the spot, the young man driving the motorbike died after being taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, the other girl was injured and is being treated at Binh Dinh General Hospital.
At the scene, after hitting and deforming the motorbike, the Phuong Trang passenger bus swerved down the right side of the road and crashed into the porch of a house on the side of the road before stopping.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
