Passenger bus crashes into overpass pillar on highway, more than 11 people injured
A passenger car traveling on the highway suddenly crashed into an overpass pillar, injuring 11 people, including two people trapped in the front of the car who were seriously injured.
At about 12 noon on March 22, a passenger car with license plate 15B-025.82 was traveling on National Highway 5 in the direction of Hai Phong - Hanoi. When reaching the 79 overpass (in Binh Han ward, Hai Duong city, Hai Duong province), the passenger car suddenly crashed into the overpass pillar.

The strong impact trapped and seriously injured two people sitting in the front of the car. Many passengers were injured and had to break the windows to escape. The car was severely damaged, the front of the car was crushed.
Immediately after the incident, people around the area approached and broke the car windows to help the injured person out of the car and give first aid to the victim. Afterwards, 11 passengers on the car were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Upon receiving the news, local authorities quickly arrived, coordinated with local people to take the victim to the emergency room, while also regulating traffic, protecting the scene, and collecting evidence to serve the investigation to clarify the cause of the accident.
