Motorbike crashed into milestone, 2 people seriously injured

(Baonghean.vn) - On the way from Vinh to Dien Chau, a motorbike suddenly crashed straight into a milestone on the side of the road, causing two women on the motorbike to be thrown far away.

The accident occurred at 1:40 p.m. on June 18 on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien An commune, Dien Chau district.

At the time, a motorbike with license plate 37-P6 9912 was being driven by a 26-year-old woman carrying another woman behind her at high speed. When passing the military gas station, the motorbike suddenly crashed into a milestone on the side of the road, causing both of them to be seriously injured, one of them in critical condition.

The initial cause is believed to be that when turning quickly onto the road, the driver suddenly used the disc brake, causing the vehicle to skid and cause an accident.

The accident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
