Motorbike 'sandwiched' 3 collided with electric bicycle, 2 students seriously injured

(Baonghean.vn) - 3 male students were going to school on a motorbike when they collided with another student on an electric bicycle. The accident left 2 students seriously injured.

On March 9, 2021, the authorities of Nghia Binh commune (Tan Ky) said that a serious accident had just occurred in the area, seriously injuring two people.

According to local residents, at around 1:20 p.m. on March 8, 2021, 3 male students including Pham Van L. (born in 2006) drove a motorbike carrying 2 other students, Nguyen Phan Duc H. (born in 2007) and Nguyen Hoang T. (born in 2006) from Tan Ky town along the Ho Chi Minh trail. When they reached Hamlet 6, Nghia Binh commune, they collided with an electric bicycle driven by Tran Thi T. (born in 2010).

The strong collision caused Pham Van L. to lose consciousness on the spot, Tran Thi T. had her upper front teeth broken, and scratches all over her face and body. Nguyen Hoang T. had scratches in many places, especially on her hands and face. The electric bicycle and motorbike were both severely damaged.

After the accident, the surrounding people quickly arrived and took the children to Nghia Binh Commune Health Station for emergency treatment. After initial first aid, the medical team at the Health Station proceeded with the transfer procedures (Nghe An General Hospital) for Tran Thi T and Pham Van L.
