Truck carrying packaging overturned and crushed 2 motorbikes, 3 casualties

(Baonghean.vn) - A truck carrying cement bags suddenly swerved and flipped over, crushing two motorbikes waiting to cross the street, killing one person and injuring two others.

At around 2:00 p.m. on December 1, on National Highway 1A, Vinh City bypass, a truck with license plate 37S - 2157 carrying cement bags was traveling on Vinh bypass in the South - North direction. When passing the intersection with the residential road in Hamlet 5, Hung My Commune (Hung Nguyen District), the truck suddenly encountered an obstacle.

Seeing that, the driver suddenly turned the wheel causing the truck to flip over and run over two motorbikes that were waiting to cross the street.

The accident caused Ms. NTT (born in 1979, residing in Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city) to die on the spot. Two people on the motorbike were seriously injured and were taken to the emergency room by local people.

The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities./.
