Truck collided head-on after hitting Innova car and sending it flying into ditch on Highway 48

(Baonghean.vn - On the morning of June 29, a serious traffic accident occurred at Truong Ven slope on National Highway 48, in Dien Lam commune, Dien Chau district, between two trucks with license plates 29C 27029 and 76C 04624 and a 7-seat Innova car.

6 victims in the Inova car were seriously injured

According to information from local people, at around 10:30 a.m. the same day, the truck with license plate 29C 27029, while going downhill, the driver lost control of his speed and crashed into a 7-seat Innova car going in the same direction, then crashed head-on into a truck with license plate 76C 04624.

Two trucks were badly damaged in the front.

The collision caused the 7-seat Innova to fly into the ditch on the side of the road and was severely damaged. Upon hearing the loud crash, traffic participants stopped to help the victims out of the car. The 6 victims in the Innova were seriously injured and were promptly taken to the emergency room. The drivers of the two trucks only suffered minor injuries, while the front of the two trucks was severely damaged.

The accident caused traffic congestion for several hours. Authorities are currently on the scene and are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
