Truck suddenly caught fire while traveling on Highway 7
(Baonghean.vn) - A cardboard truck was traveling from Do Luong district to Dien Chau (Nghe An) when suddenly the cargo container caught fire.
At around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, March 9, on National Highway 7 in Thinh Son commune, Do Luong district, a truck carrying cardboard caught fire.
At the above time, the truck with license plate 37C-310.66 (driven by driver Bui Duy Cong in Quynh Luong commune, Quynh Luu district) was traveling from Do Luong district to Dien Chau when suddenly the cargo container carrying cardboard caught fire fiercely.

The driver and the bus attendant tried to put out the fire but were helpless because of the hot weather, the fire burned more and more fiercely.
Upon receiving the news, Fire Prevention Police Team No. 5 dispatched 2 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to spray water to put out the fire. After 20 minutes of spraying water, the fire was controlled and extinguished.

Thanks to the timely rescue, the front of the car and the trunk were not burned. All the cardboard on the car was scorched. Immediately after the fire, CSCC Team No. 5 contacted the environmental sanitation department to clean up the burnt cardboard, ensuring traffic on Highway 7.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
