A traffic accident occurred at 8:30 this morning (October 23) on National Highway 1A in Hamlet 9, Dien An Commune (Dien Chau), causing a 70-year-old man riding a bicycle to be hospitalized in critical condition.

According to initial information, at the above time, a sand truck with license plate 37C - 305.48 was traveling from Vinh to Hanoi. When it reached the above location, it crashed into a 70-year-old man riding a bicycle in the same direction, causing him to fly to the side of the road and suffer serious injuries.
After causing the accident, the truck continued to drive to the left of the road, climbed onto the median strip, damaging the front of the vehicle.
Immediately afterwards, people called an ambulance to take the victim to the hospital.
