Nam Dinh Club compensates 1.4 billion VND for foreign goalkeeper
To release the contract for goalkeeper Roman Mysak, Thanh Nam football team spent 1.4 billion VND due to changes in the coaching staff transfer process.
According to Zing's investigation, goalkeeper Roman Mysak came to Nam Dinh for a trial and was retained by coach Nguyen Van Sy to sign a contract. At that time, the team's head coach considered a replacement plan if the club lacked a goalkeeper.
After becoming a member of the team, goalkeeper Roman was not registered to play. Nam Dinh Club had to recalculate the foreign player slots. They wanted to strengthen the foreign player in the attack instead of in the goal.

Goalkeeper Roman has no chance to play in V.League after receiving 1.4 billion VND. |
Coming to Nam Dinh Club in crisis, coach Van Sy had to leave with his team and hand over to his successor Vu Hong Viet. The team had to say goodbye to the Ukrainian goalkeeper for 1.4 billion VND for 1.5 seasons.
Goalkeeper Roman was born in 1991 and used to play for Ukraine U21. He came to Vietnam in early July 2022 and trained at Binh Duong Club. Unable to find an opportunity there, Roman was offered a contract by Nam Dinh Club.
This can be considered a flawed contract of Nam Dinh football team. Roman was bought a plane ticket by the club to return home. The former U21 Ukraine goalkeeper is a "rare commodity" in V.League because there are very few foreign goalkeepers coming here for a trial.
After leaving Roman out of the plan, Nam Dinh Club also liquidated Andre Fagan, signing a contract with Victor Mansaray. Currently, the team's three foreign players in phase 2 are Rodrigo Dias, Alisson Santana and Mansaray.
