Fined 25 million VND for a facility in Vinh City selling expired gas on the market

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 10, Nghe An authorities imposed a fine of 25 million VND on the act of trading LPG gas cylinders that do not meet the conditions for circulation on the market.

At 8:30 a.m. on April 10, 2020, Market Management Team No. 3, Nghe An Market Management Department coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Team - Vinh City Police to conduct a surprise inspection of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) business establishment owned by Mr. Tran Van Khanh, located at 71 Nguyen Xuan On Street, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City.

Through inspection, the Inspection Team discovered that the facility was trading in 2 LPG gas cylinders that had expired inspection and were not qualified for circulation on the market. They immediately drew up a record of the violation and submitted it to the Nghe An Market Management Department to issue a decision to impose an administrative fine of 25 million VND, forcing the recall of the LPG gas cylinders that had expired inspection according to the law.

Previously, on April 9, the authorities also inspected Trung Hoa block, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city and discovered a shipment of Viet Nhat toilet paper owned by Mr. Duong Anh Tuan, violating industrial property registration. The value of the shipment was nearly 40 million VND.

Currently, the case is being completed and transferred to the competent authorities for handling according to regulations.
