Luong Xuan Truong:The coaching staff and all the players have watched the videos of the Japanese team's matches. Of course, everyone knows that Japan is a top-class team in the continent. In the upcoming match against Japan at home, I personally think we need to play more tightly, defend more tenaciously and wait for the opportunity to counterattack.
PV: What is the significance of Hung Dung's presence in the coming time for Xuan Truong and the entire Vietnamese team?
Luong Xuan Truong:I am very happy that after a long time of injury treatment, he has made an effort to overcome it. The whole team will be very happy and welcome Mr. Do Hung Dung back.

Luong Xuan Truong:Of course, every player wants to play in the official match. Those who are in the best form and do well with the coaching staff will be allowed to play. Personally, I always try to win a place in the official match.

Luong Xuan Truong:I think after the recent matches, although the Vietnamese team has not had any points, they have scored goals. This is not an easy task but it is not impossible for us, so we still keep an optimistic spirit and try to get the first point.
PV: Vietnamese players still have an important task in 2021, which is the AFF Suzuki Cup 2021. What is Truong's goal in this important tournament, before returning to V-League 2022?
Luong Xuan Truong:There are two important matches for the Vietnam team in November, so we just prepare for each match one by one, there is no need to prepare too far in advance. We want to focus on these two matches.
PV: The U23 Vietnam players have just participated in the Asian Finals for the 4th consecutive time. Can Truong send his congratulations to his juniors in the U23?
Luong Xuan Truong:The entire Vietnam team practiced earlier than usual yesterday and returned to the hotel to watch the match and cheer for the U23 Vietnam team. We are very happy that the U23 Vietnam team has passed the qualifying round. For me personally, the U23 Asia is a tournament of great significance, from a young player to a more mature player. If you do well in the U23 Asia tournament, it will be a big stepping stone for all of you in your future careers.
