Xuan Truong publicly apologizes after scandal of cursing fans
Facing pressure from fans after sharing his heartfelt letter, Luong Xuan Truong recently apologized.
Not long ago, Luong Xuan Truong wrote a letter in English, then he shared it on his personal page. In it, the HAGL midfielder said about the amateur fans that they "have no brain", "don't understand anything"... The player from Tuyen Quang also expressed his hope that the amateur fans will one day become more mature, and will understand what it means to be an adult.
As soon as the letter was shared, many fans approached and gave mixed comments. Among them, many criticisms were directed at Xuan Truong. Some fans who used to idolize Xuan Truong, when reading the letter, also expressed their disagreement.
Faced with the pressure of Xuan Truong writing a letter, the leaders of HAGL Club officially had a conversation with this young midfielder and advised him to directly apologize to the fans. And recently, Luong Xuan Truong officially apologized to the fans.
On his personal page, Truong wrote an apology letter with the following content: "Hello everyone. First of all, I want to apologize for letting this happen. I wrote those words in a mood of unhappiness and anger when there were people who cursed and used bad words towards me and the people around me. Disturbing my private life and seriously affecting the psychology of those I care about...
So I hope everyone will understand and sympathize with me. I will try harder not to disappoint those who love Vietnamese football, those who love and want me and my teammates to succeed..."
After the above incident, Xuan Truong needs to put it aside to focus on his professional career. On March 17, he will travel with HAGL to Lach Tray Stadium to play against Hai Phong in round 2 of V.League 2018.
