On the evening of September 27, the two teams had an internal practice match and the press was not allowed to cover it. The practice match had two halves, each lasting 40 minutes. All players were brought onto the field (one team per half).

Van Hau has no chance to start in the next match?
"There will be no changes. We will field the same 11 players as last weekend," coach Johnny Jansen told Heerenveen's home page.
Last weekend, Heerenveen hosted Utrecht at home and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Doan Van Hau was on the bench for Heerenveen, but did not get to play. Van Hau was a reserve for left-back Lucas Woudenberg.
