Emotional farewell message in condolence book of late General Secretary Do Muoi
Party and State leaders and international friends left touching farewells when visiting the late General Secretary Do Muoi.
On October 6, the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and his family solemnly held a State funeral for comrade Do Muoi - former General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Chairman of the Council of Ministers (now Prime Minister) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, former Advisor to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
From early morning, hundreds of delegations from ministries, departments, branches, central and local organizations, and people from all walks of life lined up to pay their respects to former General Secretary Do Muoi.

In the condolence book, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong wrote: "Deeply mourning comrade Do Muoi - an excellent and prestigious leader of our Party, State and people.

He has many great achievements and contributions to the cause of national liberation, national reunification and in the cause of innovation, construction and protection of the Fatherland.
