At Thong Nhat Hall (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), on March 20-21, a solemn memorial service for former Politburo member and former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai was held.
Attending the funeral were delegations from the Party Central Committee, the President, the Government, the National Assembly, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; central agencies, ministries, departments, branches, organizations, and unions, and provinces and cities nationwide; people from all walks of life, friends, and comrades who had been close to former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai during the struggle for national liberation as well as in the cause of national renovation and construction.
In the condolence book, Party and State leaders and people respectfully wrote their thoughts about former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai.
