The meaning of the contest 'Women with population work in the new situation' in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - This is a meaningful activity within a series of propaganda activities responding to the national action month on population and commemorating the 60th anniversary of the tradition day of the Vietnamese Population sector (December 26, 1961 - December 26, 2021).
On the afternoon of December 13, the Nghe An Department of Population and Family Planning coordinated with the Medical Center and the Women's Union of Vinh City to organize the contest "Women with population work in the new situation".

The contest had the participation of 3 teams from 20 women's associations in Ha Huy Tap ward (Vinh city). With the theme "Connecting love - full of joy and happiness", the contest was implemented in the form of exchange and learning with three parts: knowledge, talent and cheering for the audience watching the contest.
The contest focuses on knowledge of population work - family planning, women's union work and learning about issues in social life.

In the talent competition, through the skits "Must give birth", "Have a blessing, have a share", the fashion show with the theme "Benefits of having children"family planning- the key to a happy family", the teams brought many meaningful messages.
It criticizes backward customs and consequences of having many children, gender imbalance at birth, benefits of family planning and the role of women in building happy families.

Contest“Women and population work in the new situation”This is also a propaganda activity that has been carried out for many years. In 2021, the contest will be held in Thanh Chuong and Do Luong districts, Hoang Mai town and Vinh city.
This is a communication activity to continue to contribute to raising awareness among women members and people about the policies and laws of the Party and State on population work in the new situation.
At the same time, it also equips knowledge and skills in reproductive health care in different periods and ages... thereby improving the quality of life.
