Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc hosts SLNA 2017 Talented Football Tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, the Organizing Committee of the 2017 Song Lam Nghe An Gifted Classes Football Tournament has divided the competition into clusters for gifted classes at the grassroots level throughout the province.
This year's Song Lam Nghe An gifted class football tournament is jointly organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province, Song Lam Nghe An Football Club and the People's Committees of Yen Thanh and Nghi Loc districts.

This is the second year the tournament has been held. This year, 20 teams from gifted classes of the Club across the province participated and were divided into two competition clusters in Yen Thanh and Nghi Loc.
The teams participating in the tournament are units that have been contracted by SLNA Club to train talented athletes in districts, cities, and towns across the province (satellite classes of the Club). The subjects are athletes of Children's age (U10) with permanent residence in localities in the province.
Competition format: 20 teams are divided into 2 clusters in Yen Thanh and Nghi Loc districts, each cluster consists of 10 teams, divided into 2 groups, each group has 5 teams.

The teams compete in a round robin to calculate points from first to fifth place in each group, then organize a pair competition: the teams ranked from first to fifth in each group meet the teams with corresponding positions in the remaining group in the cluster to rank from first to 10th in each cluster. The two second-place teams in the cluster are ranked third in the entire tournament; the two first-place teams in the cluster meet in the final match to determine the first and second place in the entire tournament.
The final match will be held on November 19 in Nghi Loc district. In 2016, for the first time, the tournament was held in Do Luong and Dien Chau clusters and the U10 team of Vinh city won the championship.

Location: Truong Nhan artificial turf field, Tang Thanh commune - Nghi Loc cluster includes teams: Nghi Loc 1, Nghi Loc 2, Anh Son, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Thai Hoa 1, Do Luong 1, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Vinh City 2. Competition time: From afternoon 17-19/11/2017. Location: Hai Kiem artificial turf field, Quan Hanh town. |
