Request to ensure good medical work during the April 30 - May 1 holiday

On April 25, Nghe An Department of Health issued Official Dispatch No. 1176/SYT-NVY on ensuring medical work during the April 30 - May 1, 2023 holiday to directors of public and non-public medical units in Nghe An province.

The Director of the Department of Health requests directors of health units to arrange reasonable holidays; assign cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to be on duty 24/7 during the holidays to handle work, well serve the health care needs of the people; develop a plan to coordinate with the police and related forces in the area to ensure security and order, prevent and combat crimes and fires and explosions at the unit.

Strictly comply with the directives of the Ministry of Health and the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control.COVID-19provincial level, Department of Health on COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control during the holiday; absolutely do not be subjective, negligent, raise awareness and responsibility of individuals and collectives within the scope of assigned functions, tasks and powers.

Medical examination and treatment facilities develop plans to ensure a good 24/7 emergency response system. In addition to the main on-duty team, each unit needs to arrange a backup on-duty team, which will be mobilized when necessary; organize emergency care, medical examination and treatment well, reserve enough medicine, blood, infusion fluids and necessary means and equipment for emergency care, medical examination and treatment; develop plans to deal with epidemics, poisonings, and mass emergency accidents that may occur during the holidays.

The provincial Center for Disease Control and the Medical Centers of districts, cities and towns strengthen disease prevention and control work, proactively implement disease prevention and control measures; strictly check passengers entering Nghe An from epidemic areas; strengthen anti-epidemic mobile teams, arrange 24/7 duty and fully prepare medicines, chemicals, vehicles and medical equipment to be ready to respond.

The provincial Food Safety Department strengthens food hygiene and safety, paying special attention to places where products for the holidays are processed and produced and places with collective kitchens (industrial parks, export processing zones, etc.); resolutely handling establishments that violate food hygiene and safety according to current regulations./.
