10 businesses participate in recruitment at Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College

Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College is one of 45 high-quality vocational schools, selected to invest in 5 key international-level occupations and 2 ASEAN-level occupations. With the support and cooperation of the Korean Government and Nghe An province, the school has made progress in its teaching environment as well as its highly qualified teaching staff. Under these conditions, the school has made many innovations in its classroom organization and teaching methods.

At the end of the 2016 - 2019 school year, the school had 498 college students and 65 intermediate students recognized as graduating from the first batch. In the 2018 - 2019 school year, in the provincial vocational competition, the school had 4 competing occupations, 2 demonstration occupations and was honored to receive the first prize from the province for the entire group out of 10 participating units; for individuals, there were 3 first prizes (including electrical installation, automotive technology and welding), 1 second prize (refrigeration). The first prize winners will be selected by the province to participate in the National vocational competition in June 2020.

At the Nghe An Province Self-Made Vocational Equipment Competition, the school also won first prize for the whole team; 9/10 individual devices won prizes, including 2 first prizes; 1 second prize; 4 third prizes and 2 consolation prizes.

In particular, among the competition topics, many topics have been applied in the production of enterprises in and outside the province. The school was selected by the province to have 6 topics to participate in the "National DIY Training Equipment Competition" in Hue in September 2019...

During the course, the school organized internships for students at large companies across the country. The amount of money the companies paid for students’ salaries and supported the school was nearly 8 billion VND.

"Over the past years, the Vietnam - Korea Vocational College has trained more than 15,000 long-term vocational students, 2,500 short-term vocational students, nearly 20,000 workers learning Korean and providing orientation education for more than 10,000 export workers. Over 85% of graduates have jobs in industrial parks and export processing zones at home and abroad.

Every year, the school enrolls over 1,000 students, reaching a capacity of 3,000 students. In the period of 2018 - 2023, the school aims to become a high-quality vocational school of international standards; linking training with businesses, cooperating with many foreign schools to provide advanced vocational training; training in the application of 4.0 technology with the quality of greening sustainable vocational training.

Besides, they also actively participate in movements organized by the Youth Union, creating many healthy and useful playgrounds, helping students have motivation to study and practice life skills.

On this occasion, the school awarded graduation certificates to the 10th college students and the 18th vocational school students. In addition, the school's board of directors also awarded 13 students with excellent achievements in studying and training; 14 students achieved excellent school-level titles and achieved high results in the school's science and technology innovation competition.
