120 poor households in Ky Son and Que Phong received breeding buffaloes and cows.
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 8-9, Na Ngoi Defense Economic Zone, Nghe An (under Military Region 4), organized the distribution of supplies and breeding animals to people in border communes of Ky Son and Que Phong districts.

Defense Economic ZoneNa Ngoi has given breeding buffaloes and cows to 120 poor households in Ky Son and Que Phong to develop livestock farming. Of these, 60 households are in Nam Can and Na Ngoi communes (Ky Son) and Nam Giai, Thong Thu, Hanh Dich communes (Que Phong) received breeding buffaloes (each worth over 36 million VND); 60 households in Muong Tip, Muong Ai (Ky Son) and Tri Le commune (Que Phong) received breeding cows (each worth over 21 million VND).
Along with providing livestock breeds, households are also supported with funding for building barns and training in care and disease prevention techniques.
To continue supporting people to develop production, create products and increase income, in the coming time, Na Ngoi National Defense Economic Zone will continue to support varieties of plum, peach, bamboo shoots and some medicinal plants.
