120 million VND to support twins with serious illness in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 8, Thanh Chuong Charity Club coordinated with Thanh Thuy commune delegation to organize the charity art program "Arms for Children" and raised more than 120 million VND for a pair of seriously ill twins in the area.

That is the heartbreaking situation of the two children (Viet Anh and Tuan Anh), sons of Mr. Vo Van Tai in Hamlet 3, Thanh Thuy Commune, Thanh Chuong District. Since birth (April 1, 2018), the two children have suffered from serious illnesses: Viet Anh has a brain hemorrhage and acute pneumonia and is currently being treated at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
Baby Tuan Anh has purulent meningitis, ventricular dilatation, brain abscess, has undergone 3 surgeries to drain hydrocephalus, and to be cured, he must go abroad to Singapore, the cost is up to 2.5 billion VND. For a farming family that earns a living, this is a huge amount of money, so the hope of saving the two children is very slim.

Accordingly, Thanh Chuong District Charity Club in collaboration with Thanh Thuy Commune Youth Union organized a charity music night "Arms for You" with the desire to bring songs and love to call on individuals and groups with kind hearts to join hands to support and help the two children as well as their families to alleviate some of the difficulties and misfortunes.
The charity concert raised more than 120 million VND.
