150 students are trained in hotel management skills

(Baonghean.vn) - 150 students who work in the accommodation sector in Nghe An province participated in the 2017 Hotel Management and Operation Skills Training course organized by the Department of Tourism on the morning of November 24.

The course took place from November 24 to 26 with the aim of training and gradually improving tourism services, especially in the hotel sector.

Teaching the class are Prof. Dr. People's Teacher Nguyen Van Dinh, Vice President of Vietnam Tourism Training Association and Mr. Tao Van Nghe, Vice President of Vietnam Hotel Association, President of Ho Chi Minh City Hotel Association, famous people with a lot of experience in the industry.

Currently, in Nghe An province, accommodation services are developing strongly. As of November 24, 2017, the whole province has nearly 827 accommodation establishments, including 3 5-star hotels and equivalent, 10 4-star hotels and equivalent, 13 3-star hotels and equivalent, 80 1-2 star hotels.

Along with that development, the demand for skilled labor is also increasing rapidly, especially the management team in the accommodation business sector.

Identifying human resources as one of the important factors that plays a decisive role in the development of the industry and is always given top priority by the leaders of the Department of Tourism.

Nghe An Department of Tourism has organized a training course to improve the capacity of management staff in the accommodation sector, thereby contributing to improving the competitiveness of Vietnam's tourism industry in general and Nghe An province in particular.
