At 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (September 29), Khe Bo Hydropower Plant is expected to discharge water through the spillway.

To ensure the safe regulation of water in the plant's reservoir according to the approved single-reservoir process and inter-reservoir process on the Ca River basin, Khe Bo Hydropower Plant plans to operate the discharge of water from Khe Bo Hydropower Reservoir as follows:

1.Estimated time of spillway discharge:At 15:00, September 29, 2022.

2.Discharge flow:Total discharge volume is about 500 m³/s to 1,100 m³/s (including generation through generators and spillways) may vary depending on the water flow to the lake.

3.Time to end water discharge through spillway:Until the water flow to the lake drops below 487 m³/S.

The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense informs the People's Committees of the districts: Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen and Vinh city; Heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Department of Road Management 2 to inform the authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the area downstream of Khe Bo Hydropower Plant to know and deploy necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and the people./.
