200 contestants attend the contest 'Preventing and saying no to occupational accidents' related to electricity

(Baonghean.vn) - "EVNNPC prevents occupational accidents, says no to occupational accidents", is the theme of the 2017 Competition for Excellent Safety Officers of the Northern Power Corporation held in Vinh City from November 7-9, 2017.

Mr. Le Minh Tuan - Deputy General Director - Head of the Competition Steering Committee and Mr. Mai Quang Hung - Head of Safety Department - Northern Power Corporation presented flowers to congratulate the units participating in the Competition.

The contest has 200 contestants who are safety officers at power plants, safety officers at the labor safety department from 30 units under the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC). Contestants will go through 5 parts: Multiple choice test on professional knowledge of safety and labor hygiene; greeting with content on labor safety; creating video clips on labor safety; commenting on labor safety situations through video clips; essay test on labor safety skills.

The contest has the theme "Preventing accidents, saying no to work accidents"

The contest aims to raise awareness of labor discipline, build a healthy lifestyle, implement corporate culture, ensure safety in performing tasks; create a qualitative change in the implementation, management and direction of labor safety work of employers and employees. Through the contest, it is the basis for units to review and evaluate what has been done and what has not been done in labor safety management, in order to have specific solutions in direction, aiming to prevent labor accidents in production and business.

The contest is also an opportunity for those directly involved in occupational safety to exchange, learn, share experiences and propose good solutions in directing and managing occupational safety between units.
