22 poor households in Tan Ky were given breeding goats.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Ky district organized the giving of breeding goats to poor households in especially difficult circumstances in the district.

Accordingly, each poor household received a pair of breeding goats worth 6 million VND and was instructed on how to build a barn, raise and care for them. There were 22 poor households from 22 communes and towns in the district that were supported with breeding goats this time, with a total value of 132 million VND taken from the District's Fund for the Poor.

Ms. Tang Thi Hong Nhung - Chairwoman of the town's Fatherland Front (pink shirt) presented a pair of breeding goats to Ms. Tran Thi Quy's family, block 1, Tan Ky town.

Also on this occasion, the Tan Ky District Fatherland Front Committee inspected the batch of breeding goats given to poor households in 2015. The number of goats given to poor households last year doubled compared to the number initially supported.
